I’ve just learned that a seventh person has died in connection with the Legionnaires' disease outbreak. Ninety-two New Yorkers have now tested positive, five remain hospitalized, and seven New Yorkers have tragically lost their lives. My condolences are with everyone affected during this incredibly difficult time. The Council remains committed to doing everything we can to ensure a tragedy like this never happens again.
